On June 15, 2021, students attending the summer recreation camps of 11 schools in the Tver, Bryansk, Kaluga, and Yaroslavl regions engaged in bright, creative, educational activities offered by the SPARE program to celebrate World Wind Day. More than 250 schoolchildren aged 9 to 14 years learned new facts about wind energy and participated in business games. They also calculated the strength and direction of the wind in their regions, became acquainted with "wind roses,” and learned about uses of wind that are possible at the household level.

A Moscow schoolgirl calculated the cost savings of replacing incandescent lamps with energy-saving and LED lamps for lighting the garden association "Mayak-1" of the Pushkinsky district of the Moscow region. Statistical data for the years 2005–2019 were used in the research. The work was carried out in close cooperation with the administration of the dacha village. Calculations showed a 4.2-fold reduction in electricity costs in the dacha village, which reduces greenhouse gas emissions into the atmosphere by 2531.6 m3. In the spring of 2021, the research materials were transferred to the board of the "Mayak-1" of the Moscow region.

The winner of one of the nominations of the All-Russian SPARE competition “Energy and Environment” became young resident of Yekaterinburg Maria Rostovskaya with project "Waste minus CO2". According to the schoolgirl's calculations, during the three months of her experiment, her family "saved" 37 kg of waste, equivalent to more than 300 kg of carbon dioxide, from falling into the garbage.

Although the restrictions related to the pandemic have not yet been fully lifted, the Urals participants in the SPARE project continue to carry out environmental activities. The Green Watch movement has opened the KvARTal eco-class in Severouralsk (Ural region). The topic of the first lesson was related to waste. Serious talk about waste, its classification and waste disposal methods was interspersed with games and creative tasks.

In the first week of June 2021, more than 20 school summer camps took part in the events of the "I Save Energy and Resources" campaign. More than 400 urban and rural schoolchildren aged 6-12 sorted garbage and created crafts from recycled materials and waste materials, saved energy and water, and did not use disposable dishes and plastic bags.

On May 24-25, 2021, the XII International Forum "Ecology" was held in Moscow. A delegation of directors and teachers of the Bryansk SPARE Community took an active part in all the events of this largest environmental event of the year. Koryagina N. P., director of  Domashovskaya school from the Bryansk region, one of the project managers and a diploma winner of the All-Russian competition of SPARE in the 2020-2021 academic year, made a presentation about the work of the school on the topics of SPARE: "Energy efficiency", "Conservation of resources and energy", "Climate change", "Rational waste management". The speech aroused great interest and numerous questions from the participants.

In the framework of the All-Russian SPARE competition in the 2020-2021 academic year, the heads of one of the kindergartens of the Bryansk region developed an interesting scenario of classes for children 5-7 years old on the topic: "The garbage must be separated in order to be used again!". This project won the first place in its category. We suggest that you use this scenario for training in summer camps.

In April and May 2021, teachers and some active students of Gymnasium № 1 of the Bryansk district of the Bryansk region organized open lessons - presentations of the SPARE program for some  new students. These lessons will help many schoolchildren to become active participants of energy saving programs, combating pollution of the planet during the summer holidays. The teenagers will be able to start working on their first projects on energy saving and climate protection in summer camps and in their families.
