Climate infokit. The present and future of renewable energy sources (collection of abstracts)

Countries and regions, cities and municipalities, companies and organizations adopt and implement climate plans to achieve the goals of the Paris Climate Agreement. The transition to renewable energy sources (RES) is one of the most important components of climate change mitigation. The Nordic countries are among the leaders of this activity, thus it is of particular interest to learn about their experience in this area.

This infokit contains a selection of materials on the progress and forecasts of RES development in the world, their role in mitigating climate change, strategic documents and measures to support RES in the EU and Northern Europe, on the current problem and solutions for the transfer and storage of energy for the transition to a fully renewable energy system. The material is published in Russian.
